Rossland is found high in the Monashee Mountain Range, nestled in the crater of an ancient volcano. Its charm, history and active arts community make this growing community an ideal place to live, work and play.
Known as Canada’s Mountain Biking Capital, Rossland is teeming with adventure for every skill level. Five provincial parks and beautiful alpine lakes surround the area - Christina Lake has some of the warmest waters in the country. In winter, Rossland becomes a powder mecca for skiers at Red Mountain Resort . The annual Rossland Winter Carnival is a well-known event which celebrates the community's rich cultural diversity.
Rossland is located approximately halfway between Vancouver and Calgary on Highway 3B, only 6 kms north of the US border.
