Recreation and Culture

The International Bicycling and Hiking Trail follows the Okanagan River and offers spectacular bird-watching and hiking. Nearby lakes provide picturesque places to paddle and swim. 

Home to two world class golf courses, the Fairview Mountain Golf Course was recently rated #18 out of 100 courses in Canada by Score Magazine.

The City of Oliver and its wineries celebrate each season with monthly events, concerts, tournaments and festivals.

Oliver is located on Highway 97 in the south Okanagan, and is only 26 kms north of the Canada/United States border, 43 kms south of Penticton and 26 kms north of Osoyoos.
