Keremeos is a beautiful town located on the banks of the Similkameen River less than 40 minutes away from Penticton.
Known as one of the fastest growing villages in BC, Keremeos has seen unprecedented growth with new housing. Its residents enjoy mild winters, a dry climate and long hot summers.
The Keremeos climate is ideal for fruit growing and is home to the award-winning Crowsnest Winery. The area has one of the highest concentrations of organic fruit and vegetable producers in British Columbia.
A paradise for backpackers, the area is full of hiking and riding trails including the pristine Cathedral Provincial Park. In the summer residents enjoy Twin Lakes Golf Course while Apex Mountain provides the perfect setting for cross-country and downhill skiing.
Keremeos is an active community and hosts a number of festivals, rodeos and events throughout the year.
Keremeos is located at the junction of Highway 3 and Highway 3A, 48 kms southwest of Penticton, 48 kms northwest of Osoyoos, and 67 kms southeast of Princeton.
